I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Columbus, OH) in May 2013
Interview
I only had one interview, but sometimes that isn't the case. When I turned in my application I spoke with a manager/supervisor for a few minutes and kind of went over it and then she set up a group interview since they had some coming up, that may not always happen as Victoria's Secret always accepts applications even when we aren't necessarily hiring. After my interview, they called all of my references and a couples days later called me and told me I got the job and set up a day for me to come in and start my training.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret
Interview
The interview was done as a group and was pretty casual. The hiring manager asked a mix of situational and behavioural questions, about 3-4. For me personally as I was hired during a seasonal period, having an open availability seemed to be key

Tell me about yourself, why do you want to work for VS, can you recall a situation, tell me about a time when you dealt with a difficult customer and how did you handle it
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
