I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Hayward, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Process took about 2 1/2 weeks (it takes a while to receive a call back after the interview). Applied in person and turned my application in on a Thursday, since their office days are on Wednesdays and Thursdays I received a call the next Wednesday to come in on the following Wednesday for an interview. The interview was a group interview, it included myself, another applicant and a manager. As long as you show energy and be yourself you should have it in the bag. I was really passionate about it which was a plus. After the interview is over the manager will let you know that you'll receive a call about their decision. They check your references so be sure to provide reliable sources and it takes about a week or so to receive a all back so be patient.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
