I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Orlando, FL) in Dec 2015
Interview
Initially when I arrived at the store I was going with a friend who was hoping to receive a job and surprisingly enough because it was during the holidays and they were looking for people, as long as I was dedicated to work a given amount of hours whenever they needed me, I was hired for the most part. Of course they would take me through everything and teach me the duties around the store but due to the fact I'm still a student, I could not make a full commitment to the offer. Great, friendly personalities however from the manager. But VERY important that you are committed and maintain a positive/ready to work mentality.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
