I applied online, and received a call from a recruiting rep within 2 weeks. After scheduling an over the phone interview, the recruiting rep didn't call or respond to requests to reschedule. (She did not call at the scheduled time). After hearing nothing for two weeks, the recruiting rep scheduled an interview, and once that was comple tr ed scheduled an interview with the hiring manager for later in the week. The interviews were very relaxed, more to see how your background matches up with what they are looking for. After the second phone interview, they flew me out for an on-site interview that consisted of meeting individuals from operations, engineering, safety, and security. Overall this process took close to 3 hours. After the interviews they said they would let me know either way within a week or two. It's been a month and a half, and still no word. I even sent emails requesting an update that were met with no response. VG seems like a wonderful place to work, but the hiring process is very convoluted, and not professional at all in regard to scheduling and communication.
