There are four rounds for this position after resume review. 1. online meeting with a senior expert. Some general behavior questions, experience with machine learning and some tricky questions as mentioned in other posts were asked. 2. The second task is a home-take task to train a model. 3. If you are doing okay for the task, the final round takes with two experts in CGG. First you are supposed to make a presentation for that technique task. There will be some follow up questions. Then three coding tasks, which are not difficult. Besides the final technique round, you are given an online test in related to your characteristics. The staffs are friendly. But there is one thing I feel very uncomfortable. They promised to reimburse you for the second task. I used Google Colab Pro to complete the training. It cost 9.99 US dollar. The HR said the reimbursement was being processed but it has been several months. I contacted them again, no reply! Maybe $9.99 is too much for this BIG company.
