Interview
I had a phone screen with recruiter and a phone interview with hiring manager before getting invited for onsite interviews. At the onsite, I learned that there were still a project + presentation + 2nd onsite + call with CEO. Wow. HR should have done a better job of communicating the entire process because I was in final stages with a couple companies at that point and knowing this longer process would have helped me determine if I should continue or not. In the end it was good I had exposure to some of the team members through the first onsite because one of the interviewers (content strategy) was incredibly awkward and unprepared, and I could not see myself working with her so it was an easy decision to not continue with the process.

Interview
A multi-step and demanding interview process. After the phone screen with Lindsey, there was another phone screen with the hiring manager. The on-site included a presentation, 1:1 with multiple members of the marketing team. The interview questions were generic and behavioral. The team is unclear about what skills are required for the role and how to market to a new customer segment so their questions were generic B2C marketing questions. The interview panel took a long time to share their decision.
