I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Virtusa in Dec 2016
Interview
Hi Friends,
My Interview process comprised of three rounds -
I was contacted by Virtusa HR and asked about general profile centric questions. He was very interested and scheduled a call right after that with hiring manager.
FIRST ROUND - Hiring Manager - Specific questions about Domain and technology I have worked in. Looked really interested but wanted one more round along with his colleague.
SECOND ROUND - Hiring Manager + Colleague - Asked to explain about Pricing of Deals, etc. Was very impressed and even mentioned in interview about his willingness to offer.
THIRD ROUND - kind of a formality, a Skype interview with Hiring Manager again. Basically putting face to the name.
Finally I was selected and was communicated verbally and in mail through their corporate head HR.
I was given a salary breakup also on Mail. While I was about to put my papers, the HR informs me after almost 10 days of Zero Communication from their side that they are going ahead with an internal candidate for cost reasons.
This was the most unprofessional and unpleasant experience I ever had. Thanks heavens I did not go ahead and resigned from my current job. Guys a word of caution - People in this company are highly naive and unprofessional. They have nil communication skills and do not hold any value for their commitments. All in all a very very bad experience. Sharing this here not just to blurt out my frustrations, but more to caution future applicants who are thinking to pursue a career with such a firm named Virtusa Polaris. Be very very cautious and yes since they hold no value for oral or written communication, m not sure how to develop trust with such people and companies.
