Interview
We had a written test, group discussion, 2 techincal rounds and 1 HR. The written has aptitude and reasoning questions which also included some DS ,C, CPP . the second was a group discussion and it was different from other companies. We were given a scenario and asked to come out with a solution. And then technical rounds which included questions from your resume I was asked to write programs and many questions from JAVA and DBMS and my internship etc. I got through the 1st TR and entered 2nd which had some puzzles and logics. Got through it also and finally had a HR round which tested if I am ready to join Virtusa and I got through and finally into Virtusa now.

I didnt had aa very unexpected question Bt when the interviewer asked me my strengths and I answeredpositive thinking . HR asked me where did I act positive and I answered I was trying for many companies. In the last company I falied to clear my TR . Bt I took it positive and appeared for VIrtusa .Then he asked me why didn't you clear that TR . I told I made some mistakes in my resume and he asked what is that you learnt from your mistakes and I explained how I rectified and finally got through .That moments were really awesome

Campus placement process for virtusa includes 3 rounds. 1. Aptitude round - which included normal aptitude questions -maths, clocks, speed etc. As well as Java and SQL coding questions. 2. Technical round - regarding the projects u worked in clg, basics of Java , oops concepts, data structure algorithm etc. 3.HR round - friendly round just asked about the location joining date etc..

It was an average experience.It was not so difficult as I had expected it to be.But it was different for some others.There were 2 rounds as usual: one is TR and.next one HR.If cleared TR you would get a mail for HR within 2 weeks.

Asked which programming language was I comfortable with and i said Python and they started asking questions from Python ,like the data types ,etc
They asked me basic questions of java SQL html Like what is collections and it's usage, what is joins and it's type some basic question related to front end. Duration of the interview is 20 min.
