I interviewed at Virtusa (South Twenty Four Parganas)

      Interview

I recently appeared for the Virtusa online assessment as part of their campus recruitment process. The test was well-structured and divided into two main sections: cognitive and coding. The cognitive section included 20 multiple-choice questions—10 from quantitative aptitude covering topics like time and work, averages, percentages, and number systems, and 10 from English, which tested grammar, sentence correction, and vocabulary. The coding section had a total of 5 problems. Three were basic-level questions including rearranging strings based on a specific pattern, simple array-based operations like finding sums or maximum values, and logic-building with loops. In addition, there were two Pro-Coder level questions that were more challenging and focused on advanced array concepts. Overall, the assessment tested fundamental to intermediate programming skills and problem-solving abilities, with a balanced emphasis on logic, language, and coding. In between we had 2 breaks each of 10 minutes.
