Visa contacted me via a recruiter and we had an initial phone screen that went fairly well. Shortly after they contacted me to do a phone screen with the hiring manager which went smoothly as well. As a final round, I met for a super day interview meeting with 6 different people ranging from a VP to Directors. Overall the interview was average with typical finance questions being asked as well as a general fit being assessed.
What's most frustrating about the process is what occurred after the interviews. Complete silence. I contacted the recruiter multiple times over the course of 4 weeks (with 1-week gaps between reaching out) to no avail. In the many interviews I've had in my life I've never had such a negative experience being treated like invalids after such a long and drawn out process. After 6 weeks the recruiter finally responded with "it has been a competitive message". Fortunately, by this point, I'd accepted another offer and Visa was just a distant memory.
If you're going to interview, just brace yourself and be prepared to be treated like garbage after they interview you. If they don't want you, they won't give you the courtesy to notify you.
4 rounds and 1 technical. Technical was over video and an excel workbook. Some interviews with members of the team and leaders of a tangent team. Technical with hiring manager, Different from the excel, all financial questions
3 rounds of interviews. With HR, Hiring Manager then finally Head of Department. The process is pretty straightforward and online. Not difficult at all. They just lacked communication throughout the process.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (Dubai) in Nov 2023
Interview
No a good experience overall. Felt like a waste of time after talking to two senior directors for over 50 minutes. Seems like they already had a candidate in mind and were just passing time.
One of the questions in the interview was "Teach me something new" I mean i understand critical thinking and out of box questions but really what the hell
