Stale, to say the least. This was to be the final interview. The hiring manager couldn't have been more disinterested from the start. He had major focusing issues, he would ask a question and then immediately turn his attention back to the paperwork he had in front of him, or the work he had up on his multiple monitor. It did not appear that he was taking any notes about our conversation or the input I provided.
Every time I answered a question, he would pause, remove himself from his current work, and attempt to rejoin the interview. I am confident that none of my answers to his questions were absorbed in any way.
I can't work for an employer who claims to have an employee-centric culture, wanting to empower people to be their best selves, yet they show such incompetencies during professional employment interviews.
