One of the more strange recruiting experiences. The in house recruiter was very abrasive. I was asked several times what my current salary is. This is illegal! The recruiter also questioned whether I was qualified for the position they contacted me for. The tone was extremely condescending. I’m currently working in the same role somewhere else so these questions were very bizarre. I let the recruiter know that I did not was to move forward with the process and that the line of questioning was inappropriate and illegal.
