he interview process at Vistex for the Associate Software Engineer role consisted of three technical rounds:
Technical Round 1 – Coding & Core Concepts:
This round focused on data structures, algorithms, and core Java concepts. I was asked to solve a couple of coding problems and explain my approach. There were also questions on OOPs, exception handling, and basic SQL queries.
Technical Round 2 – Backend and Frameworks:
This round was more focused on backend technologies. Questions covered Spring Boot, REST APIs, and database interactions. I was asked to explain how I would structure a RESTful service and handle exceptions, validations, and CRUD operations.
Technical Round 3 – Deep Dive & Scenario-Based Questions:
This round involved real-time problem-solving scenarios and debugging questions. The interviewer tested my ability to write clean, maintainable code and also asked questions around version control (Git), build tools (Maven/Gradle), and deployment basics.
