Interview consisted of 3 rounds. They skipped 2nd round due to how well they said I did in 1st round. 1st round was roughly 2hrs. 3rd round was 4.5 hrs. Went very well with all interviewers except one. Coding assessment consisted of: * isolating a candidate from any development tool or IDE they have mastered and typically use; * limited to a text editor; * provided incomplete, *contradicting* verbal and oral instructions; * provided only 1.5hrs to complete; * and then, interrupt every 15 mins; (6 times during the 1.5hrs) One interviewer was exceptionally unprofessional, as he didn't even read VC's written instructions prior to interview - thus resulting in the subsequent conflicting instructions provided. Their resulting offer came back at $10k less than their in-house recruiter said I should ask. That, coupled with the unnecessarily difficult interview and them having previously undetected, wrong answers to boot, just left me feeling very uneasy about accepting their offer. Even after this, there was some effort to make things work on my part. While acknowledging mistakes by inhouse recruiters, assessment processes and thanking for my feedback, VC withdrew offer rather than proceed.
