I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Vitamin World in Jan 2010
Interview
I walked into Vitamin World and as we got to talking I mentioned that I had just moved to the area and had graduated college in Health and Phys Ed. I said I hadn't found a job yet, and so they gave me an application to fill out. I brought it back the next day, and they gave me a personality test and the manager said he was going to do a background check and let me know when it came through. We set up an interview, and he asked me basic questions about my background...it was pretty laid back. When he called me a few days later everything had worked out and he hired me. Make sure you know more than just sports nutrition if you apply here...especially if you are looking for full time because that is only 20% of what this store sells.

Interview
Applied in person, was called by store manager for interview in person. The interview took about twenty minutes. I heard back two weeks later with a job offer. Apparently the hiring process was being changed during this time. They say it dosent usually take that long.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vitamin World in Jul 2015
Interview
Casual, they inquire about past sales experience, personality, character qualities that reflect salesman, availability, school schedule (if any). I was interviewed mostly by the assistant manager, and he was pretty stoic in personality, his goal was to discover how I would act with customers. Overall it was an easy interview, didn't get any questions that I felt like I couldn't answer correctly/truthfully.
