It was a joke. We just walked through my resume. Clearly already had someone in mind for the role. Waste of time. They also are not transparent about location and remote flexibility.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Vizient (Irving, TX) in Jun 2025
Interview
Initial call with recruiter. Then met with hiring manager. Then met with another manager. Went great both times. Two weeks later, was told the position was offered to someone else. Three weeks after being told I was passed over, I was asked to come in for an interview person interview for the same position. Met with the hiring manager, AVP, and VP. Very easy interview. Went great again. Thought I nailed it. Two weeks later, I was again told I was passed over for a second time. I really don’t think they were/are hiring for this role. The hiring manager, the AVP, and the VP couldn’t even articulate what their own roles are, so there appears to be a massive amount of confusion and misunderstanding. The idea of Vizient seems great but I don’t think there’s an actual vision.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Vizient
Interview
Experienced a lot of issues with this process. HR dropped the ball multiple times and ended up reaching out to me at weird times with urgency because they needed to get something scheduled ASAP (got a call around 8pm on a Sunday evening to schedule a Monday morning call). Long interview process that included 6 rounds of interviews, along with a case study and presentation. Seemed like the direct manager had someone in mind for the role, but others weren't sold on it.
