Applied for the Workplace Manager role on 11/14/24, and the hiring process turned out to be one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had. Excessive delays, poor communication, and constant last-minute changes made it clear they did not prioritize hiring or respect candidates' time. The process dragged on for four months for a low-paying mid-level role, which was completely unreasonable—so I withdrew my candidacy.
Timeline of My Experience:
11/14/24 – Applied online.
11/19/24 – Initial interview with the recruiter.
11/25/24 – Second interview with the hiring manager.
12/06/24 – Third interview with the VP, who was late and rescheduled.
12/18/24 – Followed up—no response.
01/28/25 – After a month of silence, the recruiter reached out for an onsite meet-and-greet. I responded promptly—no reply.
02/17/25 – They changed plans again, now requesting a fourth interview with a Chicago-based manager.
