An in-house recruiter reached out to me and was very friendly. This was followed by a phone interview within the next few days. I was then e-mailed a homework assignment to showcase my applicable skills. An on-site panel interview was organized for the next week. The interview process was data-based. Everyone asked pertinent questions to the position. Since it's a hedge fund group, it made sense that they looked deeply into my past. The week after the on-site interview, they called my references and on Friday of that week I received an offer letter! One of the best interview/recruitment experiences I've ever had because it was straightforward, logical and honest.
