I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Voleon (New York, NY) in Nov 2014
Interview
I interviewed at my campus' career center for a first round interview, and over Skype for the second round. It took two weeks for them to respond after the first round interview, and I never heard from anyone after the second round interview. The first interview was mostly going over my resume, and then a few fit questions, and one simple case question. The second interview was a lot of asking for examples for 15-20 questions. The second round came across as a stress test. The questions were asked back-to-back quickly, and the interviewer did not give much a response after each answer. Everyone I met through Voleon was wonderful though and it seemed like a great company to work for.

Submitted an online application then a week someone reached out for a round 1 interview. Questions were pretty straightforward and person interviewing me was super nice but make sure to know about the industry
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Voleon (Berkeley, CA) in Dec 2023
Interview
It was long and tedious with 6 rounds. Made it to Round 5 and got cut off when they asked about GPA. They really care about that. Overall I'd say you're interviewing with a white people company, it was okay.
Several rounds of interviews with people of increasing seniority. One of the rounds involved a take home portion that you then discuss with a current employee. Final round is five back to back interviews with people from various teams.
