Ultimately, the questions did not matter, this interview was not sincere in retrospect. Volvo already had their mind up to hire someone previously employed as a...wait for it...an intern vehicle porter! He is young and just finished his degree, so I can see the attraction to mold someone into their system at a lower cost than a pro like myself. But! This same person was then promoted from this position within 3 months, amazing?! So I saw the job opening, and applied again, and wasn't even contacted this time around, despite being given two interviews beforehand. I asked about the position to the recruiter, (who was kind enough to reply) but was told they already moved on with another internal candidate but to keep checking the careers site!!! Not sure that is worthy of my time, perhaps I was aiming too low. I could manage this division myself, despite the willingness to take a pay cut from my current job for this position. My main motivation was a change a scenery, in a warmer locale. I should have been a rock star in this position!
