Shortly after the initial interview over the phone, I was invited to a three hour interview at Volvo Group Trucks in Hagerstown, MD for the following week. I felt comfortable throughout the interview process, but I could sense near the end of the interview and plant tour that the hiring manager was no longer interested. I was left to fend for myself in the final building and no-one really communicated with me about what they wanted me to do next. I received an email two weeks later saying that they were going to move forward with other candidates. Overall, there were a lot of steps to go through to not be selected or offered another position in the end. The end of the interview had me questioning whether they were actually considering me in the first place. I am also questioning their seriousness because when it came time to be interviewed by the team, over 10 employees were slotted and only three showed up to interview me.
