I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Volvo Group (Bengaluru) in Jun 2025
Interview
It was L1 level interview for engineer role which was conducted on teams meet where several core mechanical questions were asked based out of SOM FEA CAE and other mechanical core related topics
good with very deep knowledge questions and about projects they will ask, your approach to problems, projects you have done and failures and success, about degree, extra courses, subjects, hobbies etc
Interviewed with a panel of three industrial/logistical engineers. They were nice, smart, understanding and seemed to have genuine passion for their work. The easy-going environment helped to calm my nerves. Due to lack of experience, I did not receive an offer, but the hiring manager personally emailed me to let me know.
