I applied for a position on the in-house creative team that I felt was a good fit for me. The salary, job duties and my work experience seemed like a fantastic match. I did a total of 5 interviews and had great conversations with everyone that I met with at Vuori. I did not receive an offer, and that's fine. I understand that there are a lot of factors in finding employees that are a good fit for any given role. Not getting an offer is not the issue. The issue I wanted to share about is the complete lack of follow up from the recruiting/hiring team. I followed up via email after my final interview and received zero response. I waited a week out of respect and followed up again. After doing 5 interviews I expect the common courtesy of a "thanks for interviewing, but we're going in a different direction" email. Honestly, it takes less than a minute. Searching for a job is difficult, please don't make the process worse by ghosting candidates who go through a full round of interviews.
