Hiring manager met me at the reception desk, didn't introduce herself, had me follow her to her office without saying a word (about a 300 feet walk) or offer anything to drink. She started by asking about my background, again without introducing herself. She kept asking more questions about my background and technical questions, it was more like an interrogation. I kept talking for about 30 minutes answering her questions then she said she didn't think she had time to take any questions from me as we were running out of time but would allow a few minutes for me to ask any question I have, again she still didn't even care to introduce herself until that point. I asked her about her expectations from the position, she seemed to like that question and gave a detailed answer. I then asked how top management weigh corporate function, my question was more to get a sense of how inclusive the corporate culture and the tone at the top is, she started explaining what corporate functions are so I tried to be more specific with my question, she apparently got offended and yelled at me!
During the interview the talent acquisition specialist came in to provide validation for my parking since the front desk was gone for the day. She smiled and introduced herself and was way nicer to me.
Also walking to the hiring manager's office, everyone I ran into smiled at me and said hello! So apparently it was just the person I was meeting with.
That was my experience! I honestly feel that I wasted 3 hours of my time driving down there in traffic for a worthless interview.
I called my recruiter once I stepped out of the company and told them I didn't want to move forward or even hear their feedback.
