The interviewer reached out to me an hour and a half before my scheduled interview to let me know that they were busy and needed to reschedule. I provided my availability over the next several days, then never heard back. A month later, I got an anonymous email from a WCG recruiting email address suggesting that they'd been trying and failing to get in touch with me, and that they assumed I was no longer interested. After I replied with a brief description of the situation, a week later I got an email from a different WCG employee apologizing that the position was already filled, and attributing the mixup to a departmental restructuring. (The subject line of this final email referenced a different job title for which I hadn't applied, so I guess I have no idea whether the position I'd applied for had actually been filled or not... but at that point I gave up.) A fantastic piece of Kafka-inspired avant-garde performance art, but a poor job interview experience.
