I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at WME (New York, NY) in Feb 2013
Interview
The interview was easy. I was asked mostly about myself, what books and shows I like, and why I wanted to work at the company. I was also asked what I knew about the industry. They asked very straight forward questions, and the person who interviewed me was very nice.
Very long process, at least for me. Started with an initial screening, then a first round with HR, then a second round with a manager. Took a while for them to get back to me.
Interview process was smooth. make sure to focus on experience around live events. Talk about music and community and how you are a part of that. show that you're passionate about music and culture
Very easy interview process for a role this competitive. 15-minute pre-screening interview, 45-minute interview with supervisor. Both interviews seemed to be a test of my conversation skills if nothing else.
