I had a Career call and it was pretty good. i have a connection which was good. it wasn't too bad but it wasn't like a formal interview. more like getting to know what you want to do at wme
They like to play games. Will be comically disrespectful of your time and effort and will ghost you even after telling you you'll move forward to the next round of interviews. I've seen the office environment firsthand, most agents are very warm and the assistants are grossly underpaid but wonderful and helpful people. HR is on another planet. They act like this job is saving lives. They are extremely entitled and lofty. Go for it if you want to be given the runaround for years of your life, since the hiring process literally takes a year on average post-strike.
Informational call followed by a first round interview request. Told candidates they would be honored to work here because it’s “the Ivy League of agencies” despite “no work life balance” and atrocious pay. Horrible communication, snotty and downright rude HR. Very negative experience overall.
