Interview
Possess 7+ yrs of experience and 6+ in test automation at the time of interview process. Process started with a call from a local hiring consultancy about the organization and the position. Post that interview date and venue email.
1st round : Technical Discussion.
2nd round : Techno-Managerial Discussion
3rd round: HR Discussion (Telephonic)
4th round: HR Discussion (F2F)
1st round : Asked a brief self introduction. Some basic questions on Selenium, nothing at par with a 7+ yrs experienced guy. Asked to explain current role and technologies worked on. Asked some questions related to xpath. No questions on Java or to write down code. Interviewer explains about the current project and work being done at WTW.
2nd round: Some vague scenario based questions on test automation from the test manager(already quit organization at the time of posting this interview experience). Some quick SQL related questions from one of the senior panelists. Manager keeps asking same question in loop, almost making no sense. People repeat question about the intention to join the organization.
3rd round: HR asks simple straight forward questions about salary and repeats question about the intention to join the organization. Salary negotiation is positive and HR agrees to 40% hike.
4th round: HR speaks a lot about the organization. Asks multiple times about the intention to join the organization. Repeats salary hike. Explains policies and leaves. Asks how soon can join the organization.
Offer rolled out within a week.
