THEY NO SHOW NO CALL FOR JOB INTERVIEW THEY REQUEST
After submitting my initial application, as well as 48-hr follow up, I received a email stating:
"WYLD have reviewed your application and would like to invite you to interview for the Kitchen Manager position."
I was extremely happy, prior to this I loved their products. With my 8 years of cannabis MIP manufacturing experience as well as cannabis gummy kitchen management experience, I jumped on the opportunity. I replied immediately and scheduled the interview for the following day, to which I received this:
"The interview is scheduled for 11:00am on Thursday 19 September 2024 (Mountain Daylight Time). It should last 30 minutes.
A member of Wyld Talent Acquisition team will contact you at the time chosen for a phone screen."
Day of the phone interview I prepared my notes, had all my talking points planned out, and was looking forward to the interview. Even if I didnt get the position, I was happy to have the opportunity.
HOWEVER; 11am comes, they never call. I waited for 3 hours by my phone, headphones in, for them to call. I sent a few follow up emails and only heard a week later they have moved on in the interview process.
I have no issues with selecting another candidate for the position, there is always a bigger fish in the pond. What I dont understand and would like accountability on is how they think it is okay to request an interview and not show up.

I applied online. I interviewed at WYLD (Detroit, MI) in Jun 2022
Interview
They messed up by posting and providing me with false information - the person I spoke with was completely unprofessional and rude. Wasted my time and acted like it was my fault.

Did not ask questions - just told me when I had to start and asked if I can make it all work.
