Was a quick respectable interview. Detailed to my jobs specification. Meaning i was not asked questions about stocking a shelf with food where as i work in the pharmacy. Would have contradicted the whole interview if asked if i knew how to return a food item. I could feel tension when asked my question. Not just anyone off the street can make a great career with walgreens.

Interview
I applied online and was contacted to schedule an interview. The interview was straightforward and mostly focused on my availability, customer service experience, teamwork, and why I wanted to work in a pharmacy setting. They asked behavioral questions about handling difficult customers, working with coworkers, and staying organized in a busy environment. The pharmacist interviewed me and was professional, explained the role, expectations, and next steps clearly. The store manager was also present and took notes. I am still waiting to hear back about an offer.

Straightforward, started off with introductions. Focused on experience, comfortability with learning new skills, interest in healthcare and Walgreens as a company. It was important to show how and why you’re interested in healthcare.

Very easy and laid back interview process. Unfortunately, Walgreens doesn’t have a great retention rate so they hire who they can as long as you tell them you have an interest in working long term.
