I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walgreens (Memphis, TN) in Sep 2008
Interview
I applied online for the Beauty Advisor position because earlier that day I had noticed a sign posted on the door of the establishment advertising the opening. The very next morning I was called in for an interview (less than 24 hours) and I accepted for later that afternoon. I went in for the interview, the store manager took me into the office sat me down and asked several basic questions about my previous work experience and why I wanted to work for the company. After the interview was over she thanked me and told me she'd be in touch. The day after she called me and told me I had the job, on the condition that I passed my drug test.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walgreens (Houston, TX)
Interview
I met with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager of the store, it was a typical interview. They asked about my work experience and my availability. There was also a drug test offsite (urine).
Quick and basic questions. Nothing extreme hired on the spot and started the following week. Very nice manager who interviewed. Wanted my history & work experience. Usually I’m pretty anxious during interviews but not this one.
