I had a very bad experience interviewing with Walgreens. My biggest complaint is the recruiter who I spoke with from the start. When we had our first "phone interview" (if you'd call it that), she was extremely unprofessional and would repeatedly interrupt me and give me rude responses. I couldn't help but wonder why she was a recruiter. I can confidently say I have never felt that awkward/uncomfortable during a phone interview due to the recruiter. Normally the recruiter is the person I get along with the easiest!
I was called back (to my surprise) to come in for an in person interview about 2 weeks later. Again, the recruiter was rude and not friendly to me when setting this interview up. I almost denied even going because of her.
The in person interview wasn't nearly as uncomfortable as the phone interview. I did one interactive activity and then I met with two other managers, and finally met the recruiter who I'd been speaking with the whole time. The managers just didn't seem very interested or like they enjoyed what they do. Very weird experience overall.
The craziest part to me was that they brought me all the way to the final round interview, and then the following week I was sent an automatic email from Walgreens saying they decided to move forward with other candidates. All the recruiter had to do was type up a 2 minute email or give me a quick phone call- but I guess that was too much to ask.
