I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart Global Tech (Bengaluru) in Apr 2024
Interview
Got selected but later on rejected after 3 months for not getting approval on their initial offer, very bad experience the HR was unable to explain about the reason, don’t waste your precious time applying here. You will get selected but later they will say you are not getting approval on their initial offer only.
I interviewed at Walmart Global Tech (Sunnyvale, CA)
Interview
Typical tech loop... 30 minute recruiter phone call to align and get your salary range. One 45 minute technical screening with coding. One 45 minute session for system design. One 45 minute session with the hiring manager (actually one level up from direct manager, I think director or whatever they call it to manage multiple teams).
They declined to give me an offer. But then I had someone else reach out and schedule a 30 minute video meeting for another similar position. It was an internal recruiter. They did not log onto the meeting. They did not respond to a "hey you're 20 mins late" email. They completely flaked and ghosted. That's super unprofessional. I bet they realized they scheduled it to someone who didn't get an offer recently but then just ghosted instead of backtracking in a tactful way. But it's disrespectful.
