I applied online to a store that was not yet opened and received a phone call from them later that day and scheduled an interview for the day after. The interview was at a local college campus since the store wasn't completely built yet. I got there a few minutes early and didn't have to wait long for the interview to begin. The first interviewer asked me what position I wanted and about 5 or 6 other questions. They were: "Describe a time you stopped a minor problem from turning into a major problem." "Describe a time when you and a co-worker had a conflict and what did you do to resolve it" "Describe a time you helped a customer" "Describe a time you were put in charge of a project and how did it turn out" and 1 or 2 others I can't remember. After that I had do a second interview with a different person. He asked about 5 - 6 questions as well and they were pretty similar to the first interview just worded a bit different. I used a lot of the same answers I used in the first interview but there were a few different ones like: "Describe a time when you were unable to complete a project on time. Why were you unable to complete it and what did you learn?" "Describe a time you went over the top for a customer." After the second interview they told me I had another one to do but the store manager was busy so I had to schedule it for the next day. I got there a few minutes early again but this time I had to wait about 30 minutes for the store manager to arrive. The final interview was only one question which was "Tell me about yourself." I just told him about my previous job history and how the experience would help me if I was hired at Walmart and not anything personal about myself. He then hired me and I had to take a drug test the same day. They called both of my personal references but they were unable to get in touch with one of them so I had to give them another person to contact.
