I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Bentonville, AR) in Mar 2014
Interview
Screening interview with HR and someone within Mktg then they flew me out to Bentonville for the final series of interviews. The interview questions ranged from behavioral to answering how you would address a complex marketing scenario. And there was a time component, like within five minutes give us your comprehensive answer / solution. I wasn't prepared for that question at all. They took me to lunch, and actually had a realtor drive me around town to familiarize me with the area. If they had offered me the job, I would have accepted it - but now as I reflect back, I would not want to work in a building without windows; it's sort of creepy.

Question 1
Can you provide an example of how you handled conflict....
The interview was easy and people I interviewed with were very kind. The interview was very conversational and enjoyable. We discussed employment background as well as skills and attributes important to do the job. I would absolutely recommend anyone interview with them.
It was a quiet and relaxed conversation, lasting around 30 minutes. Instead of focusing on skills or competency, the manager aimed to understand my personality, approach to work, and how I’d fit within the team dynamic.
