I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walmart in Nov 2009
Interview
I was met by a couple of management personnel. They asked a few questions. I was honest on the fact that I had been out of the workforce for several years and why. I let my friendly happy go lucky nature guide me through the interview and despite being tripped up by one of the questions I was pretty much told walking out of the first day's interview that I would be called back because of my personality. When I was called back the second day prior to even being taken in for the interview I was told that they had already decided that they wanted me.
Relaxing interview. Felt more like a conversation to know each other better before starting employment. The interviewers were friendly and accommodating, providing me woth additional details on the work environment and and job scope.
