I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walmart (Roxboro, NC) in Feb 2013
Interview
Took an online assessment and submitted an application, got a call a few days later and the next day went in for an interview. People were friendly but the interview questions were vague, unrelated to the job and very generic.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No question was difficult but the same type of question was asked multiple time, for example, "tell of a time in the past when you were faced with a challenging task, how did you react and what was the outcome"
Easy and smooth. Organized and efficient. Very professional and polite. Thoughtful and considerate of my time. Great questions and wasn’t rushed. Felt respected and valued. Great experience. Worth the time and learned a lot.
one interview then with Human Resources. then a call back for the offer through workday it was fairly simple process because of the need of the store. lots of people leave overtime etc.
The interview process was smooth and professional. The recruiters were friendly, asked relevant questions, and provided timely feedback. Overall, it was a positive, well-organized experience. Everyone seemed approachable and supportive.
