They didn't interview me. I called to check on the status of my application, and the head of personnel asked if I could work in ODP instead of electronics, where I applied. I said yes, and she got me into orientation the very next week.
Walmart needs to do a much better job when it comes to responding to job applications and keeping applicants updated. I applied to every Walmart in my city, and not one of them followed up with me about an interview or even let me know if they decided to move forward with someone else. On top of that, the stores barely answer the phone, which makes the process even more frustrating. Companies need to be more organized and communicative with applicants instead of leaving people waiting endlessly with no answers.
