I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Walmart in Jun 2023
Interview
Applied through a sister team's manager's referral. Got a call from the recruiter working the spot. I then got rejected at the recruiter round though I match all the minimum qualifications and 95% of the "good-to-have" qualifications as well (The remaining 5% being me knowing AWS whereas Walmart uses Azure, and full-fledged front-end frameworks). It was supposed to be a total of 3 rounds - 1 recruiter, 1 technical, 1 technical + behavioral with HM. The entire interview was extremely negative - It was like the interviewer had to get to someplace fast and wanted to get it over with. It wasn't like a conversation, but more like a Q&A/Viva session. After every other sentence the recruiter was saying, she ended it with "If you don't agree we can end this right now and not move forward". I kept saying "Nope I'm totally fine with this and I am more than happy to move forward". So yeah, not a great interview. I hope Walmart sees this and I get another chance, since I know Walmart as a whole isn't like this.

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Walmart (Bengaluru)
Interview
It not a good experience… they send juniors to interview senior data scientists. And seriously no issue with as well…. But atleast ask your employees to brush up their skills first. We had a discussion on dropout method used in NN and he had wrong understanding of the concept. This is unacceptable from a Walmart employee.
I gave interview for Sr Data Scientist role. It was supposed to be a hacker rank round but turned out to be a technical screening round on the interview day.
