Interview
It was laid back and comfortable. They explained my job requirements and what the expected in a very detailed fashion so I knew exactly what the position I applied for consisted of 100% no questions there, they helped me come up with the schedule I could work by pulling the store schedule and adding up what times I had childcare for my children and other events I had already scheduled. If I needed off Sundays for religious reasons I talked and worked through how many weekends shift I could be available for all while they showed genuine hospitality and concern for the employee they were hiring it was hands down the best job interview I have ever been through still to the current date I worked for the Walmart franchise at least 7 years ago and I have yet to enjoy another interview or be so well in formed about what I was applying for Walmart is my very favorite company that I have had the opportunity to work for in my 18 years of being in the working class so employers take note because Walmart can teach a class on interviewing skills 101 I'm sure they wouldn't mind to help others companies build more of a repoir with their employees

What my preferred days each week I was available and what my preferred times (example: 7am-7pm mon- Friday and Saturday and Sunday 10am-6pm) they asked which department i was interested in working and if i was open to learning a tew different departmenta and if i agreed i made more money because ifi needed to work an extrq shift to help raise my paycheck because tuose are call in spots and can only be offeres to employees that are very familiar with the department that needs the shift covered so see at Walmart you if you have your to do list finished your can ask the customer service manager if any other departments needs help and if so takr the exta time while helping the other departments to learn and memorize the job task required my the employees thqt work thwt department then when hr ask for an extra for clothes department even though your a a front end cashier then if you are evailable for lit you can just tel them that you know the delqrtment and have passed thw training for thtthat fepartment and would be open to heloing thre rirterney
Do you have adequate childcare,and a backup person in charge of caring for your children until your shift is over so that your job is not interrupted and we don't get left short-staffed out of nowhere
Relaxing interview. Felt more like a conversation to know each other better before starting employment. The interviewers were friendly and accommodating, providing me woth additional details on the work environment and and job scope.

the interview process was straight forward..basic questions about scenarios, what i bring to the table. Overall, the questions were HR like questions that try to gauge your experience, skillset and willingness to learn.
Interviewer was a nice person. It was not very challenging or stressful to get through the interview. I felt confident in my interview that I would be considered for the job.
