I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (Lakewood, CA) in Sep 2017
Interview
I applied online and was called about a week later asked me to come in at a specific time on a specific date for an interview. This interview was tricky because I applied to two locations and the person never said which location and there was no follow up email. I was able to go to the Disney careers page look at all the applications I had submitted, saw that one said - interview while the other said - under consideration. From there I was able to get the job number and search in through the careers page and it lead me to the job posting for the position.
It was a group interview with four girls total, they said there was supposed to be 12 of us but I think that might have been a joke. We all sat outside the store in the middle of the mall (kind of hard to hear) . We had to introduce each other, names and something about the other person. We were all given a piece of paper with a scenario on it and had to explain what we would do, we had to tell about a time we were in a stressful situation, and thats about it. The job seemed like fun, but they said things like we are open on all holidays are you sure your okay with not having a Thanksgiving. It felt like I couldnt ask for days off.
I think it is helpful to answer questions first, but if you need time to think I dont think you will be penalized for letting someone else go first.
