Interview
The interview is fine. You get called in for a group interview and everyone gets their turn to speak and if you're hired, you come in and have to learn about the company and store. At that time they hire I believe 3 groups of 4.
They tell you the store hours, which are reasonable. HOWEVER they do not tell you that the hours change as it gets closer to the holidays and they also do not tell you that if you get a morning shift, it can start at 6am, and if you have a closing shift you have to stay after work for more than an hour to clean up. BLACK FRIDAY is the worst and I remember having to stay 3 hours after my shift ended to clean up. Mind you, that was with me leaving early because people still had to stay to finish cleaning. I left early because it was 2am and it isn't safe for a 19 year old girl at that time to be taking the MTA home alone.
They tell you that they usually keep their seasonals, but unfortunately they don't tell you that if you're a part of the last group hired, you are also the first group out.

They give you a scenario and you have to basically sell the item using a Disney reference.
Fun, engaging and very friendly interviewer. The process was exciting and didn't feel like too much pressure on me like some interviews. They responded to my interview within a few days to let me know the outcome.

Phone interview - they asked a few questions when they called. So be prepared to answer some basic questions prior to setting up an in person group interview. They had my resume in front of them sand asked me questions pertaining to my work history.

Applied online. It took about a week after applying to get a call to come in for a group interview; manager asked questions "Why Disney?" and my availability, reminded me that it was part time.
Interview was very relaxed with two other people. Talked benefits and "Disney Difference" and possible hours.
