Interview
I submitted my Professional Internship application one week after the position was posted. The next day my application was moved from "Under Review" to "In Consideration". I then received a phone call asking about my availability for a BlueJeans Video Conference Interview (because I live outside of Florida). A few days later I had my interview and spoke to a team of Imagineers. The BlueJeans video system did not connect so my video conference interview ended up being a 30 minute phone call. The following Monday I received a phone call with an offer followed by an official email. The total process, sending in the application to receiving an offer, took around 2-3 weeks.

Interview
Very friendly and not at all what I expected. There are recruiters who are the ones that get your resume on the hiring manager’s desk if your initial screening goes well.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company in Oct 2018
Interview
In the early phases of the application process there is very little communication for long stretches at a time. If you are selected for phone interview (preliminary screening) you will talk to someone from Human Resources, not the team with which you will be working. If you are selected for to go farther they will offer an in-person interview or a video-chat interview. Disney has the pick of the litter, so they can afford to make you wait and be selective.
