Although I meet the basic qualifications of the job, am highly educated with bachelor and master degrees, and have substantive professional work experience, they appear to be resistant to applicants looking to make a career move into a new industry. It's a very niche oriented job that wouldn't have a deep pipeline of potential candidates so the fact that they aren't willing to think outside the box in their recruiting practices speaks to Disney being a more cautious and conservative employer.
