Interview
We were told to walk around the shop for a few minutes and look at the products and deals while we were waiting for the group before us to finish. Then we went into a room at the back of the shop to begin the interview. We did a quick ice breaker exercise, then some scenario-based work. We then went round the group talking about our previous work experience, and that was it. Before we went we had to fill in a form with our availability and any holiday we’ve already booked. It was quite an easy interview, and the managers were lovely.
Group interview with a number of different applicants, going through possible scenarios with customers and asked to sell products to an imaginary customer using selling strategies etc to encourage them to buy it

The process was smooth from start to finish. I received clear instructions ahead of time, and the interviewer was kind, professional, and genuinely interested in getting to know me. The interview felt more like a conversation than a test, which really helped calm my nerves.
