I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company in Oct 2019
Interview
I interviewed for a position with Disney Direct to Consumer International (DTCI). A recruiter first reached out to me through the Grace Hopper resume database. I first had a call with a recruiter about my experience and interests, and the different positions they were interviewing for, which determined which specific position I'd apply to. Then I had a video call with a software engineer where I worked on two technical questions in a shared code editor. Finally I interviewed on site at the Grace Hopper conference, which was a similar style question to the video interview but in person instead.

Interview
Worst interview I've ever had. So they switched the position I was applying for twice, and by the time I got to the interview with an engineering manager, it was for a completely different position than the one I thought I was applying for. Next, the actual interview. I have to say this interviewer was the most dismissive and rude interviewer I have ever had. He actually scoffed when I asked clarifying questions and was silent for the majority of my interviewing process. I'm not a rookie when it comes to interviewing either. This was a strange experience and really not a good reflection of Disney as a company.
