I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company
Interview
TLDR: If you haven't worked with the VP of the group in the past you're likely to get a worse offer and the recruiters and schedulers are unorganized/poor communicators.
The recruiters (yes somehow I ended up having two recruiters for one position) and scheduler were constantly unorganized and it took forever for my interview to be scheduled even though I offered multiple full days of availability. Once the interview was finally scheduled, the schedule of interviews given to me was different than the schedule given to the interviewers. In addition, the room I was in for the day was not booked properly and multiple times during my interview people entered the room and said they had the room for a meeting. Lastly, I was there for multiple hours that spanned lunchtime and was not offered a break or anything to eat or drink after the first interview started.
Ultimately, I ended up getting an offer and it was not even close to competitive. When trying to counter, the recruiter and team was not interested in negotiating a single element of the offer. It appears that candidates who have worked with the VP in the past (or at least at the same company) have been treated better than new applicants. If you've worked with them in the past, you are good -- otherwise you better really like Disney and be willing to sacrifice hundreds of thousands of dollars in compensation!
