All the people I spoke to were lovely, but there was no respect or professionalism shown and the working relationship between the UK and US is diabolical. I had 4 interviews over the course of 2 months (the last two with people in the US) sometimes going weeks with no news. After my 3rd interview I heard nothing at all for 10 days and was then told that I was through to the next stage but they had no idea what that was, when it would be or who it was with. Eventually, after a fourth interview, I was told an offer was coming. Despite clarifying salary expectations at the very beginning, the best they could do was 13k less than discussed. A sign-on bonus was mooted; it took 5 weeks from the last interview to actually making me an offer. Having accepted the offer (and declining an alternative), I chased the contract 2 weeks later, only to be told the US had decided they wanted me to have another interview as that supposedly should have been part of the previous process. Unbelievable. I declined.
