I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company in Jul 2022
Interview
This was my second time interviewing with Disney (2 separate teams) the first time I made it 3 rounds with the final interview being 5 hrs long, the second time I made it 4 rounds. Overall the process was smooth and everyone I met was wonderful, but it seems once they decide to move forward with their preferred candidate, the recruiters completely ghost you or string you along for weeks/months before giving a clear update (if there is one). This ends up putting a negative view over what started as a quick and smooth process. If they are expecting candidates to go through multiple rounds of interviews, presentations, and hours of their time the very least they can do is send a 'Thank you, but no thank you' email once they know you are not the preferred candidate. The waiting period / gray area is the worst. Also, the dashboard to check on your application status is not helpful at all because they don't update it in time. Your application will be stuck 'in consideration' for months even after you've interviewed/moved on.
