I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company in Aug 2022
Interview
Process: screening, a panel interview with someone on the team, within the larger group and HR - this could vary; I didn't advance farther
Pros: great recruiter (easy to work with, responsive and willing to provide feedback), quick turnaround and scheduling
Cons: I don't think they knew what they wanted. I'm assuming it was - a "let's just see what's out there first" kind of deal. Based on the feedback, they wanted someone more senior; however, the senior manager with whom I interviewed has less experience than I do, so who knows. Perhaps less experience meant the industry/group.
Note: Disney added me to their marketing distro before I was notified that they weren't going to advance my application farrther. Perhaps that's a clue? But it's tacky nevertheless.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (New York, NY) in May 2025
Interview
It was pleasant. One interview with the recruiter and one interview with both the Director and Manager in the department. They asked me about my experience with technology implementation in educational settings.
